Twelve Mile Cabin Co. is tucked deep in the woods of southern Missouri, far from the glow of city lights. The road less traveled keeps the world away, and that’s exactly what makes the journey part of the experience.

When you book your stay, we’ll send exact directions to guide you on the final stretch. The drive winds through wooded hills and down rough gravel roads that keep the world at a distance — and ends at your private slice of nature, where the sound of the creek replaces your notifications.

• A high-clearance, all-wheel-drive vehicle is required for the last stretch of road to the cabin — it’s how we stay off the beaten path.
   
• Arrival in daylight strongly encouraged so you can take in the scenery (and spot our turnoff more easily).
   
• We’ll update you on weather and road conditions before your stay.
